Since 2017, our children’s community health services in West Essex focus on making sure that everyone in Essex has the best possible start in life through community services that are accessible, high quality and meet the identified needs of children, young people and families.
These services are also offered to young people aged up to 25 years who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring a smooth transition to adult services.
All services and activities are outcome focussed and many are designed to meet one or more of the outcome measures commissioned by WECCG.
The Neurodevelopment Pathway Service started on 1 September 2021. This is a new service for children, young people up to the age of 25 and their families in North-East Essex who are living with a neurodevelopment disorder and commissioned by North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group.
