When joining as a Doctor with us, you’ll join a dedicated team with expertise in a multitude of areas. We will give you the platform to implement change and add value within your role, taking a leading role in maintaining service quality and keeping on track with clinical and corporate goals.

As part of a close-knit service, you’ll work with colleagues using your skills and knowledge to adhere to the highest standard of clinical practice, collaborate with the team and get patients the bespoke care they need. You’ll care for people with an array of issues such as offering advice on minor issues to providing specialist advice in your area of expertise. You’ll be playing a pivotal role in the community and preventing trips to hospital for service users.

Role Responsibilities

Being a Doctor with us brings a variation of challenges on a day-to-day basis according to each service user’s needs. Some roles may have varying responsibilities unique to the area but here are the typical duties and responsibilities when you’re with us.

Highest standard of clinical practice

Consistently maintaining the highest clinical standards and practice and adhere to all relevant regulatory organisations that promote best practice

Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team

With a close-knit team with a variation of expertise and specialisms as well as a wide network of local partners, you should be able to triage patients appropriately to get service users the help they need

Leading by example

You will take initiative and take responsibility for your own learning, personal development and performance and acting as a positive role model

Audit, research and innovation

Participate in, initiate and deliver audit & research to identify current practice, drive continuous improvement and contribute to the development of new knowledge to benefit colleagues and those who use our services

Directly implement change

Take an active role in maintaining service quality and assist in new ideas and systems to improve patient outcomes and implement real change to your service

Nurturing the next generation

As a leading clinical professional in your service, you'll also guide and educate the next crop of medical professionals of those less qualified and looking to develop their career in healthcare

Sexual Health Consultant

When joining us a Sexual Health Consultant, you’ll deliver appointment/walk in clinics for Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC), testing and management of Sexually Transmitted Infections including PEPSE and PrEP consultations.

Consultants must hold the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive
Healthcare (DFSRH) and Diploma in Genitourinary Medicine (DipGUM) or equivalent.

Community Speciality Doctor

You’ll provide medical support and leadership within the organisation managing elderly, complex and vulnerable patients in the community.

You’ll also deliver consultation, manage complex cases and act as an expert in the care they deliver with ultimate responsibility for the care of patients referred to you, even when care is carried out by other clinicians.

The overall aim is to reduce admission rates, length of hospital stay and readmission rates by providing continuity of care between primary and secondary care settings for complex, vulnerable and elderly patients.

General Practitioner with Extended Role (GPwER)

As a Specialist Doctor, you’ll be joining innovative and forward-thinking colleagues who are compassionate and committed to the people in the local community who use our services and go above and beyond to ensure they receive the best quality care.

This is a great opportunity for an established clinical leader who will be overseeing the assessment of health needs following locally agreed pathways– this may include review and development of new care pathways.

Paediatricians

Our paediatricians provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and ongoing care to children, young people and families and should have relevant experience in clinical management of children.

You’ll deliver paediatric clinics, assessing children with a range of concerns that are affecting their health, development or educational potential, in accordance with our established referral criteria.
