With people being at the heart of what we do, we strongly believe in transparency and want to give all candidates and employees a peace of mind. So, this page is dedicated to showing you a roadmap of how our application process works and gives you a reference point when going through the process.

01 - Application

This is the beginning of your journey with us. You’ve found a job advert on our careers website or affiliated website and are interested in joining our team. This is where you go through the job description, confirm its a good match and complete your application for us to have a look at.

02 - Invite for interview

Once we have shortlisted our candidates, if successful, you will be invited for an initial interview for the role you applied for. This will either be done in-person at one our sites or on Microsoft Teams.
If you missed out this time, with your consent we will keep your details in our talent pool and you will be sent related job roles we have available and encourage you to apply for these.

03 - Offer

After your interview, you should receive a reply promptly to determine if you are successful. If you are, you will receive confirmation of the job offer by phone and email and hopefully you accept and start your journey with us.

04 - Onboarding

After you’ve accepted the offer, this stage is what we call onboarding. This is where we do our checks that you’re eligible to work and other formalities and it gives you time to look over your employment contract, provide any other necessary information to your job role and give you an idea of when you’re able to start with us!

05 - Start date confirmed

From here, you’re good to go and your first day awaits! Working together to change lives through transforming health and care.

FAQs - Your Application

What happens after I apply?

Once you have applied, the hiring manager will review your application and make a decision to whether or not you have been successful for shortlisting. You should receive an email from ourselves of the outcome either way. If you are successful for an interview, you will get a call to arrange a suitable time/date between yourself and interview panel.

What will my interview look like?

The interview will be conducted either on MS Teams or face-to-face, most of our interviews consist of 6 questions (3 technical, 3 behavioural) to test your competencies. In the event that your interview consists of a technical test or presentation, you will be made aware in advance in order to prepare sufficiently.

Can I get feedback?

Within 2 working days after your interview, you should receive a call from a member of the interview panel letting you know the outcome of the interview as well as any feedback. If this time cannot be met due to other factors e.g. an interview is scheduled with another applicant another date, then you should be notified at the time of the interview.

FAQs - Your Onboarding

How long does the onboarding process take?

This can change as each pre-employment check is unique and requires support from outside factors however to make this as fast as possible on the day you receive the pre employment checks if you complete these as soon as possible this will support your overall onboarding timeframe.

What are the standard pre-employment checks?

Each role has varying pre employment checks however as standard each role will have a DBS check, references and Occupational Health.

There may be some delay with my references, how can I support?

Providing additional references such as character references who you have know for over 2 years helps to fill any gaps in employment checks.

FAQs - Your Start

How do I arrange my start date?

Once your pre-employment checks have been cleared, your manager will reach out to you to arrange a start date that will work for you and the service.

Where do I go on my first day?

Your first day will be shaped by your line manager, they will notify you prior to your start date of where you should report to on your first day, as well as an introduction to the company and systems.

During your pre-employment you will be allocated a Recruitment Advisor and Recruitment Coordinator, should you have any issues throughout your onboarding all the way to your first pay date, your advisor/coordinator will be on hand to help!
